Named to the CARE 100 list of Americans doing the most to reimagine and rehumanize our care system, Jessica Sager brings her commitment to bettering childcare to the Board of Directors at Social Impact Partners.
Sager has committed her life’s work to children, ensuring that children and their families in under-resourced communities across CT and NY have the foundation for success in school and life. Since founding All Our Kin 25 years ago, Sager and her team have been able to directly serve over 1,000 educators and 6,000 children in these areas. In addition, the organization is currently training agencies in 31 states on its model, reaching 12,000 educators who care for over 90,000 children across the country. Recently, Jessica was awarded the 2024 Heinz Award for the Economy, celebrating the vision and the spirit that produce achievements of lasting contributions to the Arts, the Economy and the Environment.
“I think it is a gift to have a sense of purpose in this world,” shared Sager when talking about her passion for transforming the nation’s childcare system. “The fact that I get to live my life in service of educators is a tremendous joy and honor for me.”
From 2017 to 2021, Social Impact Partners, formally Social Venture Partners, worked in partnership with All Our Kin, providing financial and project support to help the organization scale its impactful efforts to where it is today. Given her experience seeing Social Impact Partners in action at her own nonprofit, Sager noted the tremendous impact and influence that the organization has accumulated through its network and human capital. “Social Impact Partners is a powerful engine for change and I’m excited to be a part of transforming Connecticut,” she noted.
“We are so excited and honored to have Jessica join our Board of Directors,” shared Executive Director of Social Impact Partners Mark Argosh. “Her thought leadership, vision and influence have been instrumental in shaping childcare in Connecticut and paving the way for sustainable change for children and families.”
