Social Impact Partners Responds to New State Program Aimed at Addressing Healthcare Shortages in Connecticut

“CT Health Horizons is designed to address the significant challenges facing the healthcare field outlined in the Governor’s Workforce Council’s Strategic Plan,” said Ben Stang, Director of Healthcare Workforce Strategy at Social Impact Partners. “This program is a win for the people of Connecticut. Health Horizons creates opportunities for historically marginalized people to pursue stable, living wage careers while growing our healthcare workforce.”

The Office of Workforce Strategy (OWS) and Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) will serve in a strategic oversight role and work collaboratively across higher education to diversify the healthcare workforce, expand nursing and social work education capacity, and improve career pathways for nurses and social workers. Social Impact Partners is providing project support to OWS and CSCU to implement this important initiative.
