Volunteer Partner Highlight: Stacey Goodwin

Stacey Goodwin joined Social Impact Partners in 2018 with an aligned passion for closing the opportunity gap in Connecticut. Having transitioned her career from the financial world to the nonprofit sector two years earlier, she knew she wanted to get involved more broadly with nonprofit work and Social Impact Partners was a perfect match for her desire to learn and bring her skills to bear in an impactful way.

“With Social Impact Partners, I’ve had the chance to work behind the scenes with nonprofits in a way that enables others to continue to provide vital services throughout our state…it’s been incredibly rewarding,” says Stacey.

Stacey’s partnership experience includes various roles with several Social Impact Partners community partners including, ReadyCT, Horizons Bridgeport, and Child Care for Connecticut’s Future, among others.

On her project with ReadyCT, Stacey was part of a team that conducted stakeholder interviews for the organization. Stacey shared, “I had the opportunity to interview high school students and hear the difference that the career-connected learning was making in their lives. It was incredibly empowering and energizing. A reminder of how vital this work is and how it’s changing lives.”
